Emotional Vector

Emotional Vector was produced for my senior thesis at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. I wanted to blend sculpture, photography, and the Suprematist style into a body of work that documented my emotional and intellectual process during my thesis. The works were produced by creating wooden and copper sculptures that were then photographed, then digitally manipulated and flattened to produce the work below. This was a challenging series to produce and the work as a whole really pushed my design and photography skills.

Tangled Orbit

Tangled Orbit was what I like to call a photographic doodle series. I was interested in expanding my skills with studio lighting and had in mind to produce a large series of sculptural photographs dealing with the idea of movement. While the end result was not as dynamic as I had hoped it did push my lightning skills greatly, especially my use of studio lighting.
